On the walk to the to the third photo on this page, the one with the black rocks, I
passed this spot twice. Looks like an exotic vacation destination.
Believe it or not, this photo was taken after a walk of less than ten minutes
from the front door of the property.
This is the strip of Queen Street running west from our street, toward downtown
Toronto, this is about 50 yards from the front door of the house. The street level
of the condo buildings is retail: spas, cell phones, banking a dentist and more.
On the North side of Queen Street there is more retail: Starbucks, registered massage
and chiropractic therapists, clothing shop, pubs, restaurants, food and more cafes.
This view is looking West toward downtown Toronto. The Queen Street street cars
run 24/7 right through the heart of downtown including Bay Street, the Eaton Centre,
Air Canada Centre, the club and theatre districts and everything else.
