Welcome to the Serengheti Plain!

A whole section devoted to TLK

This is a little session that didn't happen (because if it did, I'd send myself to the asylum), but something I felt that needed to be discussed. I chose two characters, a Wemic (see AD&D) and my real self. The first part is the Wemic talking about the movie.

One more thing, whoever sent me the above title, please tell me ASAP.

Tokkon: Greetings, this is Tokkon broadcasting live from Jo Ann's Bar directly from Sigil.

For those who don't know much about Sigil, I'd suggest talking to the owner of this fine facility, Jo Ann, if you can't find her, then maybe you can talk to the part owner, Mara (or see above).

Now, down to business. I'm going to tell you how much us (especially me) wemics like the Lion King. Well, actually I'm the only one who saw it. Anywho, back to my quadraped cousins. Later on we'll have a guest directly from the prime world called Earth.

This movie is what a human from Earth would call 'cool'. When I saw it I was very impressed, the way Simba acted was very realisitic, to a point that is. And that fine point is when Disney made them human like. Not in the sense of altering them physically, but altering their emotions and thier feelings. That is why it is such a fantastic movie.

Human from audiance: Who is your favorite character?

Tokkon: My favortie character? No, it isn't any of the lions, it is the hornbill, Zazu. He is so swave when he speaks, especially to royalty (I don't know much about royalty, not at all:)

Mufasa was alright, but when he died by the paws of his brother, Scar, I felt outraged. Someone who killed the king just because his brother couldn't. Well I guess I don't blame Scar, I'd probably do the same. My human guest, Bryan, thinks otherwise.

Bryan (enters bar and sits down): Thank you Tokkon, and I do think otherwise, Disney wanted Scar to look evil. I'll tell you why all of thier movies in some shape or form have villans. Scar was the villan in the Lion King. Alas, some of my other friends think he is the Unsung hero. I guess that could be true, but I still can't see Mufasa, Simba's father, pick on Scar all the time. That has been done to me, being picked on, almost driving me to madness. Was it Mufasa's fault that Scar killed him? Or was it something else like a demon of some sort? Or was it done from the inside of the pride? Well, I can't answer those questions. The only people that prabably knows the answer is Disney.

Tokkon: Are you sure about that? Fanfics around the country poses Scar as a true hero.

Bryan: I am is not putting down fanfics or Scar. Heck I am writing one now, it shows that Scar was really made him 'jealous' of his brother. Well, I can't say much about the story or else I would ruin it. To tell you the truth, I like fanfics, it broadens the horizons of existing stories in many directions.

Tokkon: Thank you Mr. Grube for that insightful thought about Scar and fanfics. Good night everybody and Hakuna Matata!!

Well I hope you enjoyed my little sketch about TLK. I hope I didn't upset anyone about some of the comments I made about Scar and Mufasa.

I have also made parodies of common songs (Oldies) that relate to the Lion King. Follow this link to view them.
