Just got into Jovian Chronicles a month ago. Love the game system and the JC universe. Makes me want to kick down NASA's door and asking them "What's the hold-up?" Maybe I should just go to MIT or Tokyo U. and borrow one of the proto-type XOs in their lab and... Oops, got carried away again. Once again, great game. Can't wait for more Mechas, Mayhem and More CEGAs to Maul!!!

First, I must excuse myself about my english which is awfull. This game is really a great game but I'm not going to say that all the others people comming here have already written. So, my remarq will be only some advices, as far as my vision of life do n t harm yours. Your game is fantastic because you achieve to balance to sort of game in one, try to ccontinue like what and to not fall in a battletech like stupig game. War game is fine but if you can also plat a role and try to find enigma of the human rain or fact of society, it's perfect. My second and last note is about the scenario of yours. They still lack of deppness, and they are too linear and "prévisible" or hazardous. All the NPC are too Manichean or only have one level of thinking. It's not because it's a game of full action what you have to loose your game. So remenber, life is not a strait line, it's a circle and a addition of multiple circle, make the same of stories for this game. And also try to avoid the type : a suite of event with no point with the other. Everything is linked, and even PC make the scenario because everybody react to the action of someone, then why not the NPC on a bigger scale. AND remenber there's no place for good or bad luck. I hope I'm not to hard with you, excuse me and at least, before thinking to making money, think to make pleasure. THe serpent do not have to bite is own tail. I will send you one of my storie in a few week. Goodbye !!! Eric

Great Story. I really liked it hopefully there will be a sequel soon. Especially the description of Quil Anders was very distinctive. A very good work.

Fully enjoyable. Excellent creativity and literation. Both flowed well and kept my interest peaked throughout. The "so called" goodly length of the Martian installment was inconsequential its overall quality. So much so did I enjoy the second story, with its copius granduer in descriptive texture, I had ne rly forgotten the context of the first story (which I immediately reread). As I read both, sitting in complete silence myself, I found that my mind filled with the atmosphere of the therewithin text. That is to say, as I read each, it was the simplest to place myself within the setting and for the most part "feel" everything as I read along. Such is the mark of an excellent author. I will, of course, be expecting the same level of quality from Part 2. And, to go without saying, I WILL be awaiting Part 2's addition to the site.

Comments:
Both stories were great. While Among Giants was short, it was to the point, Mars was simply chilling. The ending where we find out the intentions of the aggressors sent a chill up my spine it was so shocking. He handled the descriptions of technology we l so that one was not overwhelmed by it, nor did it dominate the story, but nor was it merely an unintersting background element. I am definately looking forward to the next installment, which I hope is soon!

I only had time for the one story but it was excellent. The prose was appropriate and the reference in the title is just right for the story. Not a case of the title wagging the story. I will return and comment on the others. Thank you for the respite from work.
