approximately two thousand years ago, a man on earth shouting in the wilderness," repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand". this person looked unkempt, dirty, only eating locusts and honey for meals.

at his time, there is another man who went abt doing signs and wonders and miracles, and said that he is the bread of life, the living water - those who thirst abd drink water will thirst again but those who got hold of the living water will never thirst again. he said that he is the way, the truth and the life and that he came to bring life and life more abundantly. he is the Son of God. he is the word that became flesh. people were amazed at him. they did not understand. but nevertheless he won a lot of people who likes him coz of the signs and wonders that he did.

3 years later, he died on a cross. he was crucified. crucifixion at that time was by far the worst and most humiliating death penalty. he was hung on the cross naked for all to see. few hours later on the cross. "it is finished," he said. he died.

all of us are walking on a journey. a pilgrimage of the walk on earth to the place unknown for most of the people. have u ever thought where u will be going after the walk on earth? is death really that scary? personally i think that death is often depicted and associated as scary and sad coz many people dunno whr they will be going after this life or thinking will there still be any life after death? worse still, they are scared coz they noe they are going to hell. a place there will be tortures and torment forever.

is there such a place call hell? yes. the bible specifically said that it will be a place where there is gnashing of teeth with unquenchable fire and whr worm never die. y will there be gnashing of teeth? most probably is because it is a place of torment and a place which is unbearable. worse still, it is forever, eternally. u are not only going to stay there for 3 weeks, 3 months or even 300 years. as the scripture above states all men is to live once then comes the judgment. we are responsible for the things we do on earth. everything that we ever did will be present before us after we died.

is there any reason or possibiity that we will be sinless or blameless before God?

is there a God in the 1st place?
what if i say yes. what if the answer is YES.
then wat are u going to do?

but i am a fairly good person.
do u lie? ( that makes u a liar)
have u ever steal? ( that makes u a thief)
do u murder? (the Bible says that those who even have hatred for his bro has already commit murder - so u are a murderer)
do u commit adultery?(the Bible says that those who even lust in his heart has already commited adultery - so u are a adulterer)
and the Bible says that if u sinned against one, u sinned all.

hey, that's unfair!
well, in the natural, u dun go to jail for all sins. u go to jail coz of one sin.

it is actually impossible we can stand before God with own self-righteousness.
no matter how many good deeds u do, it still wun cancel ur sins. no matter how good u think urself to be. the fact is we all sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

there is only 1 solution. that is u confess u are a sinner and u repent (turn away). and the most importantly, noe Jesus as ur Saviour. believe in ur heart and confess with ur mouth that u acknowledge him as ur saviuor, and u will be saved. coz God is a merciful God. is that all that simple? yes. it is that simple. y? coz God did all the work for us already. how? i think i din finish the story above.

... he died.

3 days later, his tomb is empty. he is missing from his tomb. some thought that the people has stolen his body away. a few hours later, he appeared to some people. he even talked and ate with them. more than a hundred had seen him after that. he is alive! he has risen from the dead! all that he has claimed before his death had come true!

He is the Son of God who has came to take the sins away from the world!

the death he suffered at the cross did all the work. the blood that he shed is used to redeem us. he presented himself as the sacrifice. blood for blood. sins can only be atone by blood. he is the one who qualified to die for us coz he is the only one without sin. he never sinned in his whole life. He is the Son of God, the Son of Man. now he has risen, and has ascended to heaven. he is still alive today. he is not a dead God or a wooden idol that cannot move or talk. He is alive!
