Marijuana Issues

We need to legalize marijuana! There is nothing wrong with this plant, except people's fears. The DEA can't even come up with a reason to keep it illegal. There is so much good this plant can do. Food, fiber, feul, and medicine. The only reason it is illegal was because wealthy political and business men had vast timber holdings. They knew what the plant could do, so they planted seeds of false propaganda(reefer madness) so that they could continue to use wood pulp for paper(Hearst newspaper) and such. Now they cut down our forests, which take a long time to replace, and ravage the ecosystems. Marijuana yeilds much more biomass per acre than trees. Not to mention the medicinal uses. The list goes on and on. I'll put the specifics up sometime.

HOW AND WHY WE EVOLVED TO USE MARIJUANA FOR MEDICINE

Human nervous and immune systems become overexcited during oxidative stress.
