Eating is an enjoyable experience that enables children to grow and thrive. We prepare appetizing and
balanced meals. Snacks include fresh fruits and vegetables, and are served twice a day. Drinks
include milk, juice, and Black Mountain spring water. We do not serve high-sugar drinks or snacks.
Cakes, cookies, and cupcakes are only served on special occasions, such as birthdays

General Menu Items

Starches: Noodles, rice, pasta, and bread
Proteins: Chicken, beef, turkey, canned tuna, and dry beans (legumes)
Vegetables: Carrots, celery, broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, peas, corn, lettuce, and potatoes
Juices: Orange, apple, and grape








Snacks

Fruits: Apples, bananas, cantaloupe, oranges, peaches, pears, seedless grapes, and watermelon
Proteins: Cheese, Peanut Butter
Starches: Crackers
