SEPT 2005 - DTL Again, The Second Book: We have had a tremendous response to our first book and have been encouraged to continue our fundraising efforts with a second anthology.

Though hesitant at first, we are very excited to announce that we will proceed and produce Another Book of Comics to Benefit Cancer Research! To date, we have received commitment from 45 artists, who have promised to donate 86 pages. If you want to contribute, contact Suley Fattah.

As always with fundraising efforts, this is a work in progress but we are now anticipating an April 2006 Launch.

A Message From The Book’s Creator:

“From my experiences at the various hospitals I’ve been a patient at, each and every care-taker made a difference for me. I’ve received countless smiles, reassuring words and an abundance of kindness which have given me the strength to face my cancer positively.  That someone chooses to provide that level of care and kindness to a stranger, just because that is their job ... AND, to do that everyday, with every person that they encounter ... is astounding. This project is my way of thanking each and every one of those individuals -- all healthcare workers -- who make a difference everyday.
