This is the section that will have stuff about dubbed DBZ. I won't deny that the new episodes are better than the Frieza saga, but it's still a long way from being as good as the original version. For all of you who only know the dub, this is the place for you to learn about what you're missing. For those of you who like the original version better, it's for all the things that have been messed up in the dub.
GT: To Be Dubbed Well, Or Not To Be Dubbed Well...
Will Dragon Ball GT, the series after Z, be dubbed well or not? Here are some of GT's positive qualities that I don't think will be dubbed too well...
~The "Darn Factor". Also known as the issue over cursing. The cursing is just a part of GT that will make dubbing a nightmare for FUNimation. One episode has so much of it that I don't know what will go on in the dub. It'll be ruined! Completely!
~Names. Will it be Baby, Bebi or even something else? How about Palace, Paris or Paresu? WHAT ABOUT TRUNKS'S SISTER?! That would be interesting to find out, wouldn't it?
~Editing Scenes. They will have to completely change the dialogue of a funny scene just because the joke deals with a Japanese word. It's funny if you know what it means. A lot of people do, a lot of people don't. They'll probably change other things, too...I just know they'll mess up all of Goten's lines. Just because he sounds cool, they'll mess him up. This is turning into a rant, isn't it?


~The Kamekameha Messup! You may think "What? Can't she spell that right?" The answer is...I DID! Chances are they will mess up little details because of a little something called 'Kamekameha'. In the Goten VS Trunks episode, Goten is supposed to say "KAMEKAMEHA!" and Trunks makes fun of him for saying the attack wrong. In the dub, Goten says it right. Which isn't right! He's a little kid, so he messes up the most commonly known attack name, which is quite funny to watch. And then they cut it out. THAT is an injustice to humor! Or something like that.


MUSIC: THE DEBATE!
Did you know...the original version of DBZ had really good music? Better than some scary sounding guy scream out the words "Dragon Ball Z" every five seconds? Well, if you didn't know, now you do. The music has been taken out of the dub, where tons of fans are now missing out on the wonders of songs like Cha-La Head-Cha-La, the original theme song; Kimi no Sora E; FOR EVER~...there are so many songs that you've been missing. I may put up a few of them for you to download soon...so just check the updates...
