GREG GAULTIER VAINQUEUR DU BRITISH OPEN EN MOINS DE 19 ANS
GREG GAULTIER WINNER OF THE U19 BRITISH OPEN
Greg Gaultier remporte le British Open moins de 19 ans, tournoi considéré comme un championnat du monde junior. Il bat en finale, l'anglais James Wilstrop par 3/0. Il remporte ainsi son deuxième titre au British après le moins de 17 ans au British 1999. Celia Allamargot perd en 1/4 de finale dans le tournoi des moins de 15 ans. The Great Greg Gaultier win the U19 British Open , tournament considered as a world championship. He won the final 3/0 against the english star James Wilstrop. Greg won his second title in the British Open after the title in U17 in 1999. Celia Allamargot lost in 1/4 in the U15 girls draw.

Une large equipe de jeunes français étaient présents au très coté Open de Belgique. De nombreux très bon résultats ont été enregistrés, avec entre autre des podiums pour Loreau (U13B), Allarmagot et Tossut (U15G) et de très belles places d'honneurs pour Perrin (U17B), Lezaud (U15B) et Serme (U13G). A large number of french juniors were playing at the Belgium Junior Open. Many very good results were done, with the podium for Loreau (U13B), Allarmagot and Tossut (U15G) and many good rankings for Perrin (U17B), Lezaud (U15B) and Serme (U13G)

20 - 22 Oct Spanish Junior Open (GP)        Madrid, Spain
Plusieurs français étaient présents à l'Open d'Espagne. Trois troisiemes places ont été conquises par Lezaud en Moins de 15 garçons, Sophie Tossut en moins de 15 filles et Marion Lormant en moins de 17 filles. Some frenchies were at the Junior Open in Spain. Three third places have been won : Lezaud U15B, Tossut U15G and Lormand U17G.

Trois français étaient présents à l'Open de SUEDE. Le meilleur résultat pour Sophie TOSSUT qui perd en Finale des moins de 15 ans. Three frenchies were at the Junior Open in Swenden. The best result is for Sophie Tossut who lost in final.

26/07/2000 La France 4ème, l'Angleterre N°1/The french fourth and the title to England
La France (N°7) a été battu pour la troisieme place 2/1 par l'équipe du Pakistant. Elle termine 4ème de ces championnats du mone. Bravo donc à Gregory Gaultier, Cham Laravine, Luc Ebrard et Yves Tastet. Dans la grande finale, l'angleterre bat 2/1 l'équipe d'Eypte. The french team lost for the 3th place against the Pakistan team, and finishet 4th in this World championship. Bravo to Gregory Gaultier, Cham Laravine, Luc Ebrard and Yves Tastet. In the big final, the England is World Champion after defeating the Egyptian team.

La France (N°7) a été battu logiquement par l'équipe d'Egypte 3/0 (Gregory ne jouant pas cette rencontre). The french team lost in the semi-final played with the Egyptian team. Gregory Gaultier didn't played this game.

La France (N°7) a réussi un bel exploit en dominant l'équipe d'Espagne tête de série 3 en quart de finale. Gaultier et Ebrard apportant les deux points de la victoire. The french team seeded 7th won the 3rd seeds Spain 2-1 and reached as in the last world championship the semi final.

25/07/2000 La France est qualifiée pour les 1/8 de finales après les victoires contre Les Bermudes (3/0), le brésil (3/0) et dans le dernier match contre l'Allemagne (2/1), défaite de Ebrard 0/3, victoire de Gaultier 3/1 et  une dernière victoire de Cham Laravine 3/2 et 9/8 dans le cinquième jeu !!! The French Team is qualified for the 8th of final for the team event after the victory on Les Bermudes 3/0, Brasil 3/0 et Germany for the last match 2/1 (Ebrard 0/3, Gaultier 3/1 with a last victory of Cham Laravine 3/2 and 9/8 in the last game) !!!

Gregory Gaultier s'est qualifié pour la finale des championnats du monde junior en battant par le score de 3/0 la vedette anglaise James Willstrop (10/9 9/4 10/8). Il jouera demain la finale contre le N°1 mondial, l'Egyptien Karim Darwish. Greg Gaultier is qualified for the final after its victory against the english James Willstrop by thse score of 3/0 (10/9 9/4 10/8). He will play in the final the Egyptian star Karim Darwish the actual ranked 50 in the PSA.

Gregory GAULTIER vainqueur de Romain TENANT
L'Open de France Junior a vu une finale franco-française chez les moins de 19 ans garçons où Romain TENANT s'est incliné face à Gregory GAULTIER etonnant de facilité. Romain TENANT est à crédité d'un superbe parcours après avoir éliminé la tête de série 2 en quart de finale, l'anglais Peter BARKER et le malaysien ISKANDAR en demi-finale. On peut aussi noter la 2ème place de Caroline VENNET en moins de 13 filles, la 3ème place de Celia ALLARMAGOT en moins de 15 fille et la 3ème place de Yann PERRIN en moins de 15 garçon face à Romain DEGEZELLE. The Junior French Open showed a complete french final in the under 19 boys draw. Gregory GAUTIER won all his matches including the final with some fast 3/0. Romain TENANT who lost again Gaultier in the final made a wonderfull tournament. He won against the N°2 of the tournament Peter BAKER in 1/4 and against the malaysian ISKANDAR in 1/2. We can notice the very good tournament of Caroline VENNET (second inthe U13 girls), Celia ALLARMAGOT (third in the U15 Girls), and Yann PERRIN (third in the U15 Boys against Romain Degezelle).

Romain TENANT du pole national d'Aix en Provence a gagné ce week-end l'Open de Belgique en moins de 19 ans. Tous les autres résultats des français suivent ci dessous. Romain TENANT from the national squash center in Aix en Provence won the under 19 at the Belgium Open. The results of the other frenchs are:

Open Junior de Madrid - October 1999 - LORMANT in FINAL
Huit jeunes français ont particpés au 9ème Open Junior Européen deMadrid. Les résultats ont été excellents surtout pour  Marion LORMANT de Blagnac qui accede à la finale des moins de 17 ans filles, et Johan LEZAUD de Montpellier qui termine à la quatrième place du tableau des moins de 15 ans garçons. Les autres résultats sont : en moins de 15 ans filles Sophie TOSSUT de Royan termine 5ème en battant Julie RUET (AeroSquash Blagnac) 6ème qui a échoué de peu en quart de finale (9/10 9/10 6/9). Johan BOUQUET (aeroSquash Blagnac) termine quand à lui 18 ème d'un tableau des moins de 17 ans très relevé. Julien GUINOISEAU de Royan fait un bon parcours chez les moins de 15 ans garçons en terminant 9ème, Pierre DELCHER (Le Havre) dans la même catégorie termine 11ème tandis que Romain GALLIBERT (Chateauroux) termine 16ème. Some french juniors were playing the Junior Open in Madrid. The results are excelent, with a second place for Marion LORMANT (Aerosquash Blagnac) in the under 17 girls, a fifth place for Sophie TOSSUT (Royan) in the under 15 girls, a sixth place for Julie RUET (AeroSquash Blagnac) in the under 15 girls who missed a place in semi-final with the following score 9/10 9/10 6/9. Johan BOUQUET (AeroSquash Blagnac) finished 18 in a difficult Under 17 boys draw. Johan LEZAUD (Hobby Squash Montpellier) finished in semi-final in the Under 15 boys draw. In the Under 15 boys, Julien GUINOISEAU (Royan) finished 9th and  Pierre DELCHER (Le Havre) finished 7th after a good tournament, and Romain GALLIBERT (Chateauroux) finished at the 12th place.

.... GREGORY GAULTIER GAGNE LE MOINS DE 19 au Junior Open de Hollande/ WIN the Holland Junior Open Boy Under 19. With this victory, he win the European Junior Grand Prix for the Under 19 boys.

.... GREGORY GAULTIER GAGNE LE MOINS DE 19 au Junior Open d'Allemange/ WIN the German Junior Open Boy Under 19 . Anais ALLAMICHEL termine 3ème en moins de 15 ans fille/Anais Allamichel is third in the under 15 girls.

European Junior Championships Vienna 1999

Equipe/Teams
Le titre par équipe est remporté par l'Angleterre qui bat en finale l'Espagne. L'équipe de France termine à une cinquième place, alors que l'objectif était plus élevé (On peut se rappeler la 4ème place aux modiaux juniors). Une défaite en poule préliminaire contre le finaliste (Espagne) a donné un tableau défavorable( l'Angleterre en quart de finale). The title has been won by the English Team against the spanish team. The french team, after being defeated by spain in preliminary tour, reached to the 5th place. It's not a good result for a team who was 4th in the last World Junior Championships.

Individuel/Individual
Aux championnats d'Europe Junior joué à Vienne en Autriche, Gregory Gaultier N°4 du tournoi, perd en final contre l'anglais Adrian Grant, après avoir battu en demi-final, le N°1 du tournoi. The European Junior Championships 1999 are played in Vienna  Austria. Gregory GAULTIER who was ranked 4 reached the final after beeting the English Nick Matthew who was ranked N°1 of this events. The English Adrain Grant won the final.

Une quinzaine de jeunes Français de Toulouse, Aix-en-Provence, Montpellier et Rouen ont participé à l'Open Junior Espagnol à Madrid les 23/24/25 Octobre. Deux formidables victoires sont venus couronner un bon résultat d'ensemble.
Some fifteen young french players from Toulouse, Aix-en-Provence, Montpellier et Rouen were present at the Spanish Junior Open in Madrid. The results were good, with two victories :

• JOAN LEZAUD win the Spanish Junior Open Boy Under 13

• GREGORY GAULTIER win the Spanish Junior Open Boy Under 19

WORLD JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS - Princeton August 1998

L'équipe de France des moins de 19 ans a réalisé un remarquable résultat d'ensemble avec une place de 4ème par équipe et un accès aux 1/8 ème de finale pour le très jeune Gregory Gaultier (15 ans).
The results of the french team of the boys sub 19 in the world junior championships were excellent with a place of fourth in the team championship and an access to the 1/8 final for the very young Gregory Gaultier (15 years old).

WORLD UNIVISERSITY CHAMPIONSHIPS - Wales July 1998

Même si ces Français ne sont pas juniors, ils ont tous moins de 23 ans et sont champions de monde Universitaires, les championnats du monde Universitaire à Cardiff du 18 juillet au 25 juillet 1998.
They are not junior, but these frenchs are all under 23 years and they are University World champions, the world University championships in Cardiff the 18 july to 25 july 1998.
