Glennie, real name, Glen Chowler,  is an English friend hailing from Cleethorpes in the North of England.
As far as I know, he is 47 (circa 2000), lives in the company of Helen, an Irish gal, and has one little son, Dylan,
works as a District Nurse, and has a lot of comments about life, sports, and the Grateful Dead.

Anthony Duda formally changes first name to Zipa...
Yes it's true and he's a yorkie to boot..

A drug smuggler has paid the price for ignoring the first rule of his trade...don't draw attention to yourself. The Canadian arrived in ski clothes at brisbane (where temp's touched 30 C) In his polar fleece jacket customs found 6 kilos of best mary-jo...

Donna Bello travelled the world to scatter her mother's ashes in Bali, Vermont and Hawaii only to return home and be informed the funeral home gave her the wrong casket........she's suing........

A Humberside chef has been found guilty of having sex with a goat in an allotment.....Stephen Hall was arrested after the hull to bridlington train stopped at signals and dozens of passengers used mobiles to report the far from pastoral scene taking place below. Detective inspector Dave crinnon told the court " I saw the goat the next day. it did not seem too upset, but it is difficult to tell".

Dove of peace released by Pope flies back inside Vatican (into pie for lunch?)

When italian priest Father Guiseppe Pierantoni was kidnapped by three armed men in the Phillipines last october, there was only one thing to do: call in a trained negotiator.........last week came the breakthru..the negotiator ran off with £50,000 ransom money.

Aussie funeral parlour wins licence to serve alcohol......

A New Jersey truck driver has set new standards in chicken wing eating by downing 143 of them in 30 mins...but a Dewsbury man gave up a tattooing endurance record after 21 hours when the medical team became alarmed at his increasing heart rate.

Oh happy day

Glennie

War ina babylon...
Just to let you know...bought a great CD the other day...Dread meets Punk Rockers Uptown a collection by Don Letts (late of B.A.D.) and its a dooozy....great 70's dub rockers delight......   also highly reccomended comes the latest offering from Lee 'Scratch' Perry called Jamaican e.t. and its top clash booyashaka....on a more up to date front can also say 8 out of 10 for the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club debut album...bit Jesus and Mary Chain/Cocteau Twins but some good to excellent tracks and well worth picking up for about a tenner....not so good was the latest Chemical Bros album...not much of note on it at all and a bit of a letdown for someone who has most of there stuff.....some good reggae on sale on Amazon...just ordered Police and Thieves by Junior Murvin and put a few others i.e. Max Romeo.War ina Babylon and Bunny Wailer. Blackheart man..used to have them on vinyl so better get them on CD.......

Looks like we have a chance to survive but with away games at the 7th 8th and 9th placed clubs and home to Gazza inspired Burnley and Sheff Wed it will still be a mammoth ask to do it but Burnsy reliably informs me that we are playing well enough to stay in the safety zone......the Burnley home game is a sell-out tonight so guess the home game at Town may be the same...get us a ticket Jazz and I'll square up

No sign on the nipper front as yet but Helen ready to drop at anytime and am waiting with baited breath.......

Better take a hike to the living room to watch Juve vs Arse and then later some of NZ vs England from Wellington...was a crackin game last week and on thurday night was transfixed watching Graham " shagger" Thorpe and "freddy" Flintoff score their 200 odd run partnership...couldn't drag myself up to bed until 0230 and tea...not that bad as I was on holiday...not a bad match when one considers that when I switched on to watch the 1st innings we were two wickets down ...oh yee of little faith??

Oh well fella's....hope all is well with the lot of you

drop the old ex-pat in yarkshur a line someday

Yo
Glennie
