Counselling Coping with the horrendous situation that we are all in is incredibly
difficult. Although family and friends can be a great help, sometimes
more support is needed. Parents from PITY II are always there to understand, but sometimes grief is so powerful that extra help is required. There are many people who have turned to drink and prescription drugs to help them cope. Sometimes a trained counsellor can help people through. There is
no shame in admitting you need help - no one should have to deal with
what we have had to for the last year. To find a counsellor, ask your GP. Also, the office has lists of voluntary counselling services across the Northwest. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you feel you would like to find out more details. Everything is held in confidence.
