Dear
Friends,
Whilst
helping bereaved families across the country as a Compassionate
Friend I have been appalled at the unnecessary pain they have been
forced to go through.
Hundreds
of families have been denied the right to express their grief in
the way that they choose owing to churches rigorously enforcing
outdated, too-strict and even silly churchyard rules.
I
have therefore started a campaign entitled Angels of Freedom and
Comfort. This campaign is to give bereaved families the right to
express their grief by permitting them to put what they wish on
their loved ones grave, so that they can gain comfort.
I
think that these rules have to be challenged and I am challenging
the Church of England at present. Anyone who wishes to join the
campaign, please get in touch.
Janet
