Post-Mortem Consent Forms for National Use The Department of Health has published several draft documents for
consultation with regard to post mortem examinations. The documents
are: Families & Post-mortems, A Code of Practice, and five model consent forms for post mortem examination & the retention of organs. Also an interim statement on the use of human organs and tissue based on the current law. The documents can be found at www.doh.gov.uk/tissue. Comments on these documents can be sent via the Internet to mailbox: Post.Mortem.Consent@doh.gsi.gov.uk.
