RoadPeace
PITY II has been contacted by the charity RoadPeace, which is an organisation for road traffic victims. As there are members in the group who lost their children as a result of road accidents, we thought that information on the group might be of use. PITY II has some of their leaflets in the office if you would like more information. "If you are a victim of a road death or injury, phone RoadPeace for free confidential advice. All our helpline volunteers have suffered as the result of road death or injury so understand the distress and confusion that follows. They offer emotional support and practical advice as the procedures that face victims of road death and injury can be complex and confusing. Our volunteers will explain these clearly. All helpline volunteers are professionally trained to provide the best possible support and advice. National
help and advice line 020 8964 1021 RoadPeace also has local members across the UK who can provide one-to-one support; it holds a Remembrance Day for victims in November, provides legal help, leaflets, and a monthly gathering outside Parliament.
