Our guild newsletter contains a  Block-of-the-Month pattern.  Usually a guild member exclusive,  the August Block-of-the-Month is available on line in celebration of the "grand opening" of our web page.

This month we introduce Debbie Rose, our new Block-of-the-Month "committee".  Debbie has been quilting since she was knee high to a grasshopper.  Taught by her mother, an exquisite quilter, Debbie learned well and is a quilting wonder.  I think every quilter in Leavenworth has heard the words, "Oh, Debbie was just in and bought the whole bolt."  Her most recently published quilt is "Daylilies Party at Night" which is on the cover of Donna Thomas' latest book, Short Cuts:  A Concise Guide to Rotary Cutting.
