In different lands we leave pieces of
our hearts... The white
night-without-a-day continues
endlessly... Nobody comprehends if the sky
is falling
into the
crystal waters of the lake, Or if instead
the lake water is crystallizing
and
ascending into the
sky...

During this aeon we see
the land
of Russia in our dreams. The
dreams begin now. In these dreams the
sharp-ended
fir trees
stand, green sentinels On guard
above the quiet blue eyes of the
lakes...

From the Ancient Russians we keep
our thirst
to the water. The ancestors considered the
water as a
great Uneverse value. From the Ancient
Ages till now
the water
is the symbol of the purity for us ...

In almost all old Russian fairy-tales
the water
nymphs and
other fairtale creatures are in
action... The Czarevna-Frogg, the
Swan-Girl,
Water-Nymphs,
the Water-Sprite etc., They all are
concerning
to the
lakes and rivers of Russia.

Night on the Lake. Here the swans
live. They all are girls bewitched by evil
magician. Only in the night they return
their human bodies... And only the devoted
love could cause for girls
the
freedom from evil sorcery.

The magic power of the Life is
the main
attribute of Karelian lakes, especially
in the
early morning, when the mist Lies above
the mirror of the water...
