Welcome to Old York Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution celebration. The program is designed in segments for busy folks with busy schedules, or travel limitations. The church family and friends of the Union Congregational Church have been invited to attend Professor Bill Thomson's "Patriots of the Sea" talk/slide presentation. The luncheon is by pre-reservation only. There is no head table, so everyone can enjoy each other's company. The presentations after the luncheon will honor the daughters who have been members for a number of years. The visiting chapters will have the opportunity to make chapter announcements and conduct business, if necessary, in designated locations after the benedictions.

Bill Thomson has given Old York Chapter the privilege of selling his books this day. The proceeds from the sale will be given to Old York Chapter to support the promotion of history education. We thank his DAR sisters for being our sales ladies. He will happily autograph any of the books.

Brochures on visiting opportunities that afternoon in the area may be found in the Fellowship Room and in the Narthex. Old York Historical Society buildings and research library as well as the Kittery Historical and Naval Museum will be open that day until 4:00 p.m.
