You can learn anything on the World Wide Web! I discovered how to make balloon animals,a fun hobby for all ages. You only need 3 things:

1.Balloons (buy them on the 'net or at any Magic Shop)

2.A good set of lungs or a hand pump. Trust me...blowing them up is not easy at first. As a beginner,use a pump to inflate them!

3.Desire to learn

You can be twisting a simple doggie in no time!

I recommend the 260Q balloon which is the most popular balloon for modeling. Call some magic or novelty stores to compare prices. You can purchase an assortment of colors for under $15. If you prefer to shop the 'net, I've listed some vendors to choose from.
