The attainment and the retention of personal physical health is a challenging endeavor for everyone in the world today. We can approach the subject of health from many angles, at many levels, and in many specialized areas, so the topic is just vast. There is always more that we can learn about maintaining our health, or about regaining our health when we become ill. I am featuring a selection of books below that begin to address some areas of this issue. I hope that you will find one or more that may be useful to you in your personal quest for health. The Healthy Living Space: 70 Practical Ways to Detoxify the Body and Home by Richard Leviton, is a wonderful sourcebook for ideas on how to progressively purge the poisons from your body and your living space. There are a great number of topics addressed in this book, so you might want to digest the author's many suggestions a few at a time. One reader had the following comments about this book, "Readable and important. Excellent for both the initiated and uninitiated. I thought I was thoroughly initiated, and was overwhelmed with information anyway. I'm glad somebody's attempting to put all this stuff together, from science to conjecture.
