| The Children The children still laugh, jump, & skip They still do their chidren things But they know, yes they know Something is different This place just ani't the same At times they seem not to care At other times they have this far away stare The children know, yes they know Yet they continue to play and grow Isn't it wonderful that children are so versatile Or are they?!? What thoughts are going through their Little young minds? "How come we don't live at home no more?" "What happened to our back yard?" "Why are we here with all these other strange people?" "How come mom and dad are so frustrated?" "How come they yell so much?" The children still play, still grow I know the children know, Yes they know ... !!!
