A bit on the dark side, it shows Buttercup's 'middle-child' syndrome....to the extreme.

THE NEW DETECTIVES: Fowl Play In Townsville
G
A parody of The Discovery Channel's 'real life' police forensics show. Forensic medicine is used to solve a 'horrific' crime. Told in the 'ND' format. In spite of the seriousness of the narration style, it's very much a comedy. TV script format.
February 2001
A Tale of Three Sisters
G
Drama, book format. Combines my favorite sport, hockey, with my favorite cartoon characters. Taking place in the future when the Girls have lost their superpowers, it uses sports as a metaphor for life, and is really about the unbreakable bonds of sisterhood. Includes the poem 'The Shootout', which I wrote first and felt needed a supporting story. Definitely worth a look, even if you aren't a sports fan.

Code Blue (Written as 'I am a good fighter')
PG-13
When Bubbles falls seriously ill a ruthless young TV reporter's efforts to break the story lead to disaster. A very intense hospital drama. Novella-length, this is the second re-write. I learned a lot about tearing a story apart and reworking it with this one and I am very proud of it.
July-August 2001
Code Blue-1st draft (Written as 'I am a good fighter')
PG-13
Pretty short. It captures the sentiments I wanted but is a very flawed story nonetheless. Read it only if you're interested in seeing how a story evolves.
June 2001
Code Blue-2nd draft (Written as 'I am a good fighter')
PG-13
I took care of the big flaw but wrote a story someone else wanted me to write. I pretty much hated it. Starts out the same but has a very different and much less serious ending. Step 2 in the evolution of a story.
June 2001
Area 52 (Written as 'I am a good fighter')
PG
It's almost summer. A perfect time for some of Ms. Keane's kindergarten class to go camping. To sit around a campfire, eating S'mores and telling scary stories. And Buttercup has a doozy...Science-fiction/suspense, book format. And a very nice escape from the frustrations of writing 'Code Blue'.
June 2001
The Fall of Townsville

An introspective story in book format. How will the Powerpuff Girls deal with it when the inevitable happens? It's different...but the idea just wouldn't 'leaf' me alone.

February 2002
Part Time Heroes (Written as 'Powerpuff 79')
PG
The Beat-Alls reunite, and it appears the Powerpuff Girls have been broken up this time. Can they pull themselves together or will they forever be 'part time heroes'? Comedy, TV episode-length script format.
March 2002
It's a Terrible Life (Written as 'I am a good fighter')

September 2002
The Case of Series 2
PG
One of Edgar Allan Poe's classic tales provided me with the vehicle for combining my two big 'obsessions', and in writing it I unintentionally swerved into another of his spooky tales. See if you can guess which two.
December 2002
Party Animal
G
A big celebration is planned but Townsville's Number One villain has other ideas. A short story written at a young child's reading level. Submitted to Cartoon Network for the Scholastic Books program. I never heard back from them.
September 2002
Root Of All Evil
G
