Using Heart Rate Monitors In Your Curriculum

Here’s a chance to wear a heart rate monitor and learn how to manually download exercise data. While wearing
a Polar Accurex II Heart Rate Monitor, participants will follow a 10-minute
walking course using a map and
following easy split-time instructions.
After completion of this walking course, participants will fill out an Activity Data Form. This form requires one to
complete information on time above, in,
& below target heart rate, average heart rate, recovery rate and splits. Discussion will follow as to how to adapt the course map to one’s school setting and ways of using heart rate monitors in class
activities.
