Hi! I'm Viviana and I would like a detailed diet that helps with nutritional balances, helps the
mind for a university student and is good for a healthy body. I also have lots of allergies and
acne breakouts; I would like to know of diets that lower these. I appreciate it, thank you very
much.
Viviana,
Personal Trainers discuss diets, discuss the quality of your nutritional choices, and
recommend EXISTING diets, BUT WE CANNOT LEGALLY WRITE DIETS, unless the Trainer
is also certified as a REGISTERED DIETICIAN. I am a certified nutritionist, but that is not the
same as a registered dietician. Even a doctor will defer to a registered dietician when it comes
to putting on paper, eat this or eat that, portions, times, combinations with..., and so on.

As a nutritionist, if you told me you were eating A, B, and C and how much, THEN I could
discuss the value of the choices you made and show you how other SAMPLE choices might
be better.

All this is to say, for your question to be answered, see if allexperts has a registered dietician
who may better help you, or contact one from your local yellow pages.

As far as EXISTING programs, I STRONGLY ENDORSE Weight Wathcers. Weight Watchers
does not limit or exclude ANY FOOD group which means you don't have to give up the things
you enjoy eating. However, they do educate you on the VALUE of FOOD for its nutrition and
calories, THEY ARE EXTREMELY GOOD at pointing out HEALTHY PORTIONS of all the
foods you like to eat, and they have GREAT LITERATURE that will give you sample menus,
healthier preparations of your favorite foods and so on.

Weight Watchers as far as I am concerned is the BEST eating structured program because
unlike the other programs it does not tell you NOT TO EAT certain things, and they do not
FORCE YOU TO BUY PACKAGED FOODS. Their support program helps people to stay on
track and realize they are not alone.

I don't work for Weight Watchers by the way - but in my experience - they are the ONLY ones
I will recommend, although for TEMPORARY measures I sometimes refer to others.
Otherwise, my clients see a Registered Dietician, or for SELF MANAGED PROGRAM (if they
don't want to go to Weight Watchers) I recommend the SLIM FAST PROGRAM. It is more
dependent on packaged food purchases, but now that they offer more than just liquid meal
replacements, and now offer hot food plates, they are also a good deal.

All the best with your healthy pursuit of good nutrition.
