In order to achieve the set goal, HHFGN conducts social service activities for preservation and promotion of (i). arts and culture; (ii). literature and (iii) oriental philosophy.
Arts and culture of Nepal:
Nepal is a country enriched not only by geographical diversity but also by diverse cultures, arts and languages. A rich diversity of indigenous arts and culture is a distinguishing feature of Nepal, which attracts hundreds of thousand of tourists from all over the world. Arts and culture reflect the realities of a particular community. Hence, HHFGN feels that there is a need for preservation and promotion of arts and culture indigenous to Nepal.
Literature:
Literature, which is said to be a mirror of society, reflects the realities of a particular society. It needs to be read and understood. Hence, HHFGN works for making the literary works of world-renowned litterateur like Herman Hesse, a Nobel laureate of Germany, accessible to Nepali readers by translating foreign literature into Nepali language and Nepali literature into foreign languages.
Oriental philosophy:
HHFGN serves human beings by promoting yoga, meditation and spiritual teachings, which is the gift of oriental philosophy, at home and abroad.
