The FUNNY PAGES
Here's a small links page to some other sites. In the
meantime, if you run a comics site yourself, as a creator or as a fan,
drop me a line so I can include yours. And remember, reciprocating links
helps us both build traffic. If you don't, I reserve the right to pout,
rant about it, whine and pull your link off in a fit of pique several months
from now.

TOY TRUNK
RAILROAD by Erik Sansom
2000AD Links:
OFFICIAL 2000AD
Site...after waiting years, Rebellion buys the
weekly from Fleetway and puts an official site together within days!
Still in development, but a great start.
JUSTIN
SMITH'S 2000AD MATRIX is back up and running after some time
off.
Grimbor the Chainsman, still obsessed with his dead girlfriend
Charma, presents this detailed and (large) image-intensive look at THE GIRLS
OF THE GALAXY'S GREATEST. Typically, Grimbor being so into imprisoning
his superhero foes in inescapable handcuffs, there's a good assortment
of ladies in some sort of confinement!
THE SEMI-OFFICIAL
NIKOLAI DANTE WEBSITE is maintained by Dante's co-creator Simon
Fraser and features a history of the character and his creation, a plot
synopsis and several of Simon's sketches.
And, he's not the editor anymore, but former Tharg David Bishop
now writes a column for Comics International called BEYOND
2000.
LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES Links:
THE LEGION OF
SUPER RESOURCES is the pre-eminent LSH links page on the Net and
can get you to just about any other bit of information worth reading.
When Blake and Trey and all of us created the GMS Legion all those
years ago, we had never heard of fanfic. Dozens of other fans have also
been inspired by the Legion to create their own stories, these actually
set in continuity and fighting the real Sun-Eater and Fatal Five and
stuff, and not parodies like mine. Well, they could, but mainly they
explore the characters' relationships. Many of them are available online,
and archived at THE LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES
FANFIC ARCHIVE, by Dannell Lites and Kerithwyn Jade.
OTHER MAINSTREAM BOOKS:
Archer's Gateway for HOWARD THE DUCK
Fans.
Speaking of Annotations, there is an amazing list of them
and some great bibliographies at WWW.ENJOLRASWORLD.COM. The
focus is on Alan Moore (knows the score), but your Ennises, Ellises and
Morrisons get look-ins, too. Damn fine stuff.

THE OZONE
COMMANDOS don't have a web page yet, but for the damn low price
of $4 you can get all four of their in-print adventures from creator
Dave Merrill, who's wowed many with his GMS Legion contributions: Ozone
Commandos Early Pages, The Ozone Commandos Movie Special, The Ozone Commandos
Dojinshi Desperadoes, and Ozone Commandos Go To Hell #1. The book is part
anime parody, part pop culture nightmare, part thumbing-of-the-nose at
conventional comic continuity, and all around the most fast-paced book
you can buy. Click on the link to get more details from the writer/artist!!
COMIC-RELATED WEB ZINES:
Lots of good reading at COMIC BOOK RESOURCES,
most importantly some fantastic weekly columns on the state of the industry
by Steven Grant.

know about yet. Creators: make sure you submit your site here as well.
WAHOO!...The

the number of visits from Wahoo to each site. GMS Legion fans: find Legion
in the directory and give me a rating!

DITKO LOOKED
UP. A well laid-out and comprehensive index to the elusive Steve
Ditko's career. There are no guesses about why his Legion of Super-Heroes
work is not up to his standards, but good essays and criticisms, including
a great one about the remarkable Shade the Changing Man.
THINGS THAT MAKE
YOU GO AH! is a wonderful collection of Adam Hughes art. The
site's very image-intensive, and aren't the images grand?
THE OFFICIAL MILO
MANARA HOME PAGE, also featuring work and strips by other Italian
artists. (site contains nudity; not recommended for minors)
TIMEMACHINEGO:
an extensive Grant Morrison "comixography" by Darren Shrubsole. Hey,
anybody want to grab some of those Near Myths or Starblazer issues for
me? Also, check out Grant's own

THE DAVE STEVENS
HOME PAGE features a very nice rundown of all the great artists'
work, from the original Rocketeer to the saucy covers for Eclipse Comics
in the 80s, to the present. Excellent layout and presentation.
