Tamaz Nadareishvili was born on July 19, 1954 in the town of Gagra. In 1971 he finished 1st Secondary School in Gagra; in 1971-1974 he was studying in the Higher Military School in Tbilisi and in 1981 he graduated from Abkhazia State University.

In 1974-1979 he was working in the system of the State Security Committee of Georgia. In 1979-1990 - was the second secretary of City Committee of Party in Gagra.

In 1990 he was elected as a deputy of the Parliament of Georgia and in the same year - as a Chairman of the Cabinet of Abkhazia.

In 1993 he was appointed to the post of the Chairman of the Defense and Security Council of Abkhazia. In November, 1993 - was appointed to the post of Vice Prime Minister of the Cabinet of Georgia.

In February, 1995 he was elected as a Chairman of the Supreme Council of Abkhazia.

In March, 1993 he was awarded the First Class Order of Vakhtang Gorgasali.

In 1997 he was elected as the member of the UN Informatization Academy. In 1998 - as the member of the Academy of Sciences. In 1998 - was awarded the Giorgi Shervashidze Prize.

Tamaz Nadareishvili has close contacts with Abkhazia. He is descendant of a well-known Abkhazian princely stock, which for many centuries was ruling Abkhazia - an integral part of the united Georgian State. Abkhazia was always considered as an integral part of Georgia to which significantly contributed the powerful family of Shervashidzes.

Presently Tamaz Nadareishvili continues the historical mission of his ancestors fighting for the integrity of our country, revival of Georgian gene and spirit in Abkhazia, establishment of the strong indivisible Georgian State.
