Great Gaming Midis (15-12-2001)

The pages are arranged in chronological order. This was my first page a long time back. Updates will be found further ahead.

1.Scars Left by Time         Lost Pieces

=>Starts slowly and suddenly with a blink of the eye elaborates into a fast paced classic beat. Delightful. The second one is the slower version of the melody with the acoustic guitar.

2.Schala's Theme      Another version

=>I played the whole game without realizing this superb theme existed. I love the way it just drags on and on.

3.Another World

=>An excellent tune dominated by a guitar. Soothing and calm.

4.Monkey Island

=>Playful though it may sound the tune has the ability to enter your system and permanently reside.

5.Frog's{Glenn} Theme

=>The theme of my most favorite character in Chrono Trigger. Fast theme but manages to convey the soul of the character.

Yasunori Mitsuda is one of the premier composers in the gaming industry today. Born in 1972 in Japan he is the maestro behind epic games like the Chronotrigger, Chronocross and Xenogears. The defining quality of his music has always been the purity of his ideas. Mitsuda maintains that he has always been fascinated by nature and stars and that is where he draws his purity from. Some of Mitsuda's best work can be found here as you explore these archives.

6.Cosmo Canyon      Great Warrior(Red Theme)

=> A melodious oriental tune with a twist. From ff7.

7.Flight      Emotional Version

=> From Xenogears. Awesome all round music.

8.Shadow's Theme

=>A haunting melody from final fantasy 6 which symbolizes the character on which it is based perfectly.

9.Bramble       Stickerbrush Symphony

=>From DK2. The music for the hardest level in the game. If it hadn't been good many would have broken their television sets. If you don't have a decent soundcard download the mp3. They are the same.

10.Loss of me -FF9

=> An awesome piano solo. It keeps wandering and is fragmented but is still amazing.
