We all remember the way the Rahbanis have dealt with the
"Christian traditional music" they know , we all remember the funny
sketches in many of their plays which had clear oriental church music like in
LOLULOU , the Fairouz and Nassri and the deputy Dialogue while preparing the
list of victims , or the arrival scene of the makhateer in Mais el Reem , and
the genie's scenes in Jisr El Qamar and AL Mahatta, Why did the Rabanis use this
prayer music for funny sketches while we see that they are the authors of the
most beautiful prayers ever written in the arabic literature since AL
QUASS BIN SA3IDA , in the best music ever in the arab world , why did the
rahbanis do that ? was a J-J Rousseau influence?
Any way every Year , even during her avoidance of public activities during the war , Fairouz kept this little yearly tradition of praying each Good Friday , which is
the Friday that precedes The Holy Easter , every year in a different church ,
presenting to us the treasures of the oriental Christian Faith, We Have to admit
that in 80% of the Rahbani repertoire there is a small prayer , but with these
traditional prayers , with the voice of Fairouz the prayer takes a new dimension
, helps us pray deeper . In this page I present a little prayer By Fairouz on

This page was made on the Sunday 2nd of March 2003 , tomorrow is the begining
of the Holy LENT for the western communities , which is the begining of 50 days
of Fast in preparation for the THE HOLY EASTER , and after 2 days Our muslim
brothers will celebrate the begining of the Hijri Year . And we are today living
the fear from a nearby war to be launched by usa against the people of Iraq ,
That's why POPE JOHN PAUL II has asked us to dedicate next Wednesday 5th of
March 2003 in prayer and fasting For peace in Iraq and the world , and so that
GOD will open the blind minds of the war lords.
