So you are sitting at home with nothing to do, except for that paper that is do tomorrow at 5 pm, what do you do? If I were you, I would call up a couple of friends, get in the car, and head to the movie theater. Movies are one of the best ways to get together with your friends and hang out, and also one of my favorite procrastination techniques. I have seen all kinds of movies and nothing beats sci-fi/fantasy, which blows those evil chick flicks out of the water.  These have been my favorite classics of all time.
