My Own Ramblings

If you know me well you probably know that I like to play with words and love the sound of my own writing.

My College Entrance Essay

Most of the following quotes come from conversations I have had on IM. They are not, for the most part, polished or even compleat thoughts. I have tried to go through and fix some of the more glaring spelling and gramatical errors but I'm sure I missed a lot. The rest come from papers I have written and they should be noticably cleaner and clearer.

Me on ignorance expanding with the openness of our minds
or you could just say that there are more ways of expressing that same ignorance. Now its communal, reflecting itself in the twisted funhouse mirrors of our minds

Me on the US government
this is the work of the smart people, they set it up, it is the pinnacle of human thought and experience refined through the ages to the point where we forget that it is that good and complicated and [so we] put an idiot to lead it, cause most of us don't know the difference

Me on love and this quote
"Love does not consist in gazing at each other, but in looking outward together in the same direction."---Le Petit Prince
a note on that quote: personally I think love can be looking at each other, away but in the same direction or in completely different ways. The key is relating what is seen and understanding what the other sees. This is easiest when you see the same thing and hardest when you look at each other, so it has a point but not the whole one in my view.

Me on sleep
Sleep: where problems are forgotten and peace is found.

Me on stupid work
Yes, the work I refuse to do is refuse

Me on fact
All we know is observation and opinion, if what you see and think is seen and thought by others it becomes fact.

Me on people in modern society
People care more about being perceived happy than finding mental stability. They destroy their bodies and ignore their minds so that they will fit in and be liked. Their whole being is prostrated before the altar of conformity leaving an empty shell ravaged of the human spirit.

Me on canabalism
It is the only truly efficient way to feed our ever-increasing population yet it is the one that the world will agree to only when we are on the brink of death.

Me on America's young'uns
they create a shared mind in which if one knows something it is shared among all so as all are equal. Thus we squash creativity and individuality, creating mental clones with no individual opinion or sense of morals.

Me on American politicians
Now we have spawned a new race to lead us. They in all outward ways appear to be the same as us; yet they dont have the intelligence, the morals, or the usefulness that is shared by the majority.
