1. Is this your F.A.Q.?

No.

2. But the link says F.A.Q.!

No, it says faq.

3. What's the difference?

F.A.Q. stands for frequently asked questions. The line over the a in faq indicates a long vowel sound. So it's pronounced "fake," not "fack."

4. Dude, there's no line over the a!

Yeah, you're right. It's not supported in the extended ASCII character table and I didn't want to make people have to download obscure fonts . . . but notice the lack of periods! Still not a F.A.Q.!

5. But I have a question to ask you!

That's what the questions section is for.

6. Than what's this?

A fake F.A.Q. for questions that haven't asked yet, but I assume will be. Or for stuff I'd like people to know but they haven't asked about yet.

7. So what's the first infrequently asked question?

8. What is Tangerinephant?

Tangerinephant is my first novel.

9. Where can I buy it?

You can't. It hasn't been published yet.

10. When will it be published?

When I find a publisher.

11. Is this book even finished?

Pretty much.

12. Pretty much?

If Tangerinephant were a piece of software it would be at beta 0.75

13. Can I read it anyway?

If you ask me nicely.

14. How come your writings page doesn't have very many things on it?

I'm only posting stuff that I've had published. When I publish more, I will put them online.

15. Why don't you publish any more?

Believe me, I'm trying.

16. That apple thing isn't even a story.

True, but it's not exactly a poem either. Where else am I going to put it?

17. Is that all you ever wrote?

No. I write lots of things.

18. Why don't you put some of the other stuff up on your website?

Because while I believe that I am a good writer I know that I am not the best judge of my own work. So I'm operating on the theory that anything that a editor is willing to spend paper on is decent enough to devote bandwith to.

19. I want to publish your book or one of your stories.

Check out my contact page.

20. I want to mail you death threats.

Check out my contact page.

21. Why do you call yourself Kevin Dole 2?

My full name is Kevin Gerard Dole Jr. Kevin Dole is my father's name. I use the 2 to distinguish me from he. Also, there are a lot of other Kevin Doles in the world, so I use the 2 to distinguish myself from them as well.

22. But 2? What are you, a sequel?

I guess.
