This list is dedicated to writing stories pairing Garak with any character from all Star Trek series: DS9 as well as TOS, TNG and Voyager.  The final deadline for the FIRST WAVE stories is 1st November 2000, but we welcome stories posted before that date. Cardassian Choir will have an exclusive on the story until December 1, 2000. The final deadline for the SECOND WAVE stories is 25th December 2000, but we welcome stories posted before that date and we will be archiving stories posted after that date provided they have not been posted or archived elsewhere prior to January 25, 2001. Cardassian Choir will have an exclusive on the story until January 25, 2001. Please do not post or archive your story anywhere else until 26-01-01. A THIRD WAVE has been added for February 14, 2001, like the First and Second wave, we have a one month exclusive on the story until March 14, 2001.

Listmembers are required to write at least one story, but it can be as short as they want.

You can pick your own pairing, but for your FIRST story, you can’t take a pairing that’s already been allotted. (You can pick any pairing you like for your SECOND, etc. story/stories, however.)

A list of the pairings is at the end of this page: it’s not limitative.  If you think of another character you’d like to pair with our favourite Cardassian tailor, by all means ask! (by emailing the list at
< Garak-fuh-q-fest@egroups.com >)

The stories will be posted on a dedicated web page set up by Sophie (BGM) at:

I would be grateful if you kept then exclusive to that page for one month; after which you are of course free to archive them wherever you like.  In addition, let us know where you agree to their archiving afterwards: one zine is already interested in featuring them as an ensemble (Mel’s).  Naturally you own the copyright to your stories and whatever Paraborg  doesn't devour.

The stories should be submitted with the following header:

Author: GaBuZoMeu  (whoever picks the reference here wins lunch! :))
Pairing: G/whoever
Rating: Where no one has gone before
Feedback: < yourname@yourprovider.com
Disclaimer: Viacom is Borg
Notes: Part of the "Garak Fuh-q Fest"
Archiving: ( < http://www.oocities.org/cardassian_choir/ >  and […] (archiving lists & e-zines of your choice)

Send your stories:

1- in the body of an email to this list;

2- and as a Word 97 or TXT attachment to < shezan1@yahoo.com >. The subject-line of your mails should start with the prefix: GFF SUB: < title > so that Shezan, who is coordinating the fest, knows what they’re for.

We will also put up a number of informative files on the site.  If you have stuff you want us to add (links, misc stuff, and so on), please send it to < shezan1@yahoo.com >with the subject: GFF SUB: MISC

Right, good luck and good writing!  And many thanks for joining! :)
