The following are just some cool bands that I can think about. If you ever get a chance listen to this stuff, you should. This is pretty fast paced music, and gets my blood flowing.
Static-X
These guys have a really unique sound to them. They are pretty hard and have somewhat of a synthetic sound. I especially like the songs "Bled for Days" and "Push It". They are really fast songs with lots of power in the vocals.
Powerman 5000
These guys are very awesome. The song that got me into metal music is by Powerman. "When Worlds Collide" is the first metal song I really liked. It's a pretty heavy song. It's one of those songs that gives you energy.
Kittie
Kittie is a very cool metal band of all girls. This is some of the most awesome you can ever hear. They don't slack up on the tradition of heavy metal vocals just because they are all females. These girls can scream like banshees. The music itself is just as hard if not harder than most other metal songs.
Spineshank
Spineshank is killer! It's heavy with hard vocals that make you want to get up and do something. You have to hear it to believe it.
