Introduction

Welcome to the Captain's Unofficial Justice League Homepage - your resource for the most in-depth JLA material on the net. This webpage has been running in one form or another for the last five years.

I've now switched the code behind the page to an XML based environment that is parsed into XHTML/CSS on my home PC and then uploaded. For updates about that project and tips about my experiences with XML and comics be sure to check out the site-log.

Sections

• The New Era - The New Era began in the run up to the current JLA Series, it marked a departure from the previous incarnation and reintroduced the concept of the "Big Seven". This section covers the current series, its spin offs and the characters contained there-in.
• The JLA Ages - The history of comics is marked by approximately four distinct ages (Golden, Silver, Bronze and Modern). This section covers the various historical versions of the Justice League through those ages. This section also converse the Multiverse, Hypertime and Elseworld counterparts to the League.
• Worlds of the Multiverse - The DC/National Universe is one of the oldest fictional universes and it has evolved and changed radically over the years. This section steps outside the comicbooks to look at the publishing history and cosmology of the wider DCU.
• The Justice Files - Traditionally one of the most popular parts of this site has been the in-depth character profiles. This section brings those profiles together for easy navigation and browsing.
