    Overview

    First Impressions

Before your mind can truly process it you see a glint at the other end of the street and suddenly the entire area is full of a stroboscopic red blur. There's a high pitched hum, like an angry bee, as multiple dopplershifts overlay as the blur crisscrosses your vision. Then the blurs merge into one, the buzzing vanishes and the Flash is stood before you. He is in his early twenties with the muscular physique of a sprinter. He politely introduces himself as the Flash and you catch a trace of a midwestern accent. Yet before you can reply he's gone, subsumed into the red blur that vanishes to the horizon accompanied by multiple sonic booms.

    Brief

Wally West is the fasted man alive and possibly the fastest man ever. He is the third Flash, having grown up in the embrace of superspeed. He is one of the most experienced members of the Justice League and years ahead of other heroes his age.

The Flash has a direct line to the extra-dimensional energy source called the Speed Force, it is a form of speedster Valhalla. Time and time again Wally has brushed up against it, feeling it call him into its eternal embrace as it claimed his uncle Barry Allen. Yet Wally is linked to our world by an emotional bond with wife Linda Park, and due to this link he always returns where other cannot or would not.

    Recent Developments

He has explored the source of his power, the mysterious Speed Force, and has followed it on adventures across time and Hypertime. In the process he has met his own dark doppleganger, had a final adventure with Barry Allen and seen the Flash Dynasty stretch forward for the next thousand years. Back in the present he has finally tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, journalist Linda Park.

    Abilities

The Flash is the fastest man alive. He is directly linked to an extra-dimensional energy source called the Speed Force, a sort of Valhalla for speedsters. This grants him the ability to move at speeds exceeding lightspeed and complete control over his molecules. He can vibrate through solids and can lend/steal speed from other objects. Like most speedsters he can time travel by using a Cosmic Treadmill, however he can also traverse time under his own power by skirting the edge of the Speed Force. In extreme instances he can also use the Speed Force to launch himself into Hypertime.

    Tactics

In the first instance the Flash will just use his superspeed to disarm and overwhelm normal foes. If he encounters significant resistance the Flash will bring his other abilities into play, he will launch superspeed projectiles by lending speed to surrounding objects and will drop bullets out of the air by stealing their speed. He will vibrate through any attack and will attack the opponent directly with thousand of hypersonic punches. Amid all of his he will be apply tricks based on "Speed Facts" taught to him by Barry Allen.

    Relationships

    Connections

On his own Wally is experienced, serious and patient. However put him in the same room as Green Lantern Kyle Rayner and they both degenerate into kids. The pairing of the Green Lantern and the Flash is one of the great generational pairings, pity nobody told these two. When they first met each other Wally couldn't stand Kyle, since then they have patched things up and begrudgingly work together with a certain amount of banter.

    Allies

Flash I (Jay Garrick, the original Flash with the JSA), Impulse (Bart Allen, Barry Allen's grandson, a member of Young Justice), Jesse Quick (Jesse Chambers, a member of the Titans), Max Mercury (Zen master of speed and Impulse's guardian)

    Enemies

Mirror Master II (a member of the Flashes Rogues Gallery and the Injustice Gang), Abra Kadabra (future magician, tried to erase Wally from this universe), Gorilla Grodd (supersimian with telepathic powers)
