If you're only planning on sending out 1 or 2 letters, maybe just to your favorite stars, you can skip this section completely, but if you're thinking of making autograph collecting a hobby of yours, keep reading.

It's a really good idea to keep a record of all the letters you've sent out. All you need is a piece of paper with a couple columns titled something like "Who" "Sent" and "Received." Every time you send a letter, record the name and date sent; I know it seems like a hassle, but it'll come in handy every once in a while.
