TASTY TREATS FOR THOSE COUNTRY DOGS WHO LOVE LAYING UNDER THE APPLE TREE!!
Can you just imagine the old dog laying under the apple tree waiting for the fruit to fall???
2 Cups Rice Flour
1/2 Cup Cornmeal
1 Egg
2 Tablespoons Vegetable oil
2 Apples, Grated
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1 1/3 cups Water
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl except the apple and water. Grate the apple into the mixture and add water, mixing until it starts forming together.
Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead well.
Roll out to a thickness of 1/2 inch. Place on a baking sheet that has been sprayed with a nonstick spray.
Then, take a knife and score the dough horizontally, then vertically to make a grid of squares. (size of squares if variable as to the size of your dog) but be careful not to score the dough completely through!!!
Bake at 325 degrees in the top half of the oven for about 1 hour or until fully cooked.
Let cool and store in airtight container.
