Subject: Arcana Bashing :-)

Hello...

Enjoying the page of lists, and while there I noticed the info on Arcana is why I left in a nutshell.

Is that a Recent clarification, that, "is not oriented to people who believe in magic"?

Granted I'm waxing a Little twisted on this here, but I'm really tempted to start my own list in this genera, devoted to discussions of Santa Claus, which of course "is not oriented to people who believe in Santa Claus", but only those who focus on the estalished facts about Santa Claus and then wonder why in the flaming blue yonder I started it in the first place...

Of course it will likely be followed by other lists of a similar spirit of purpose, like "Snowsnake-L", which "is not oriented to people who believe in Snowsnakes" but accomodates experts in Snowsnake research and is geared toward scholarly references to Snowsnakes...

"Wild Goose Chase-L" might fit in the genera, too... I dunno... I DO find this rather amusing after all this time...

Please bear in mind that due to the scholarly nature of "Santa Claus-L", even my own speculative work, "Buddha Was A Muon and Santa Came Next", dedicated to the preoccupation of alchemists with chimneys, apparently owing to their value as Black Body Resonators/ Recievers or something, cannot be accepted as on-topic. Oh, well maybe, since Cassanova is an authorative source here... ... It Does kinda tend to give you some new *love handles* on the mother goddess, though... (Oh no now what is the neo-Ephesian alluding to in potentialy volatile glib garble? A: Muon- magnetization for one... as a primary use of the mother goddess symbol... )

Of course there are No Authoritative Sources for That... Or Pinnochio of the Ectoplasmic Nose... Or...

...The raindrop is the arrow of Apollo of the Moon...

Subject: An Excerpt...

Hi All Dunno, maybe, all I ever do around here must be like saying, "This is a hand"... of course those who have a different word may still be perplexed by this still, I don't really know do I?

So if I haven't, in the name of demystifying and legitimizing paganism, convinced the world that at least One of us is not only a near-mad scientist, but a presumptous poof yet...

Here is an excerpt from one of my logs, back when I was neither so lacking in lucidity, nor so endowed with sanity apparently...

Etymological: "Laura, lavra, labra". Few such links exist that might place the Bay Laurel and Lavendar as having some comparable properties. I Will have to return to my discussion of Perovskia (Russian sage) (Normally Laura/lavra might be one of those things we might think to have come from a Romanism, like Urano/verano. owing perhaps to the rendering of the letters themselves) While Artemisias have LABYRINTHINE texture to their foilage, this may have less mundane value than as a high contour density translation zone at seashore having certain effects inland by carrier, and may pertain to (bio)morphic feilds.

As a superficial cognate of Verbena, Perovskia may pertain to men who endeavor to study women's medicine, as well as a Capricornian value of aiding men to emotionally embrace parenting...

...the are trends towards signatures in the plant tat may allude to post-mastecomy regeneration; a host of mammal-oriented questions seem to be posed by the plant. It is also in a cognate group, presumably, with Cannabis, as an alledged entheogen, which has somehow accrued the preposterous reputation of causing male breast development...

But of course... and while I left out the whole section on Daphne and Arethusa here, just due to the non-linear schedule of messages from on high... (in totally random order of course) as I feel even my male self become the victim of Wet T-Shirt Night, with stiff ninnies I announce I know Just how that Cretan Goddess feels with her bare breasts and snakes, like I'm ready to nurse something with Cold blood in it... Ich Unglaubich!

What could be more, er, less, er, more, er...Natural?

Well anyway... consistency does Seem to lurk in the strangest places... and now, for the Research!

Your correspondent of correspondences, Out of his flippin' mind as usual... and worse, just making it all up...

Peace!

Subject: Eye of the Eagle Dept.

Hello

Gee, now what am I doing to almost have an adventure in magical science?

The other day I had another episode of (superduperhyperultra-) macropsia, seeing what seem to be sub-atomic particles. Not overwhelming, or useful, or anything...

But I am reminded of the subject. Besides the material by Stephen M. Phillips referred to in the bibliography of Bird and Thompkin's "Secret Life of the Soil" where Appendix is devoted to the subject of whether the Theosophists Charles Leadbeater and Annie Besant clairvoyantly or intuitively discovered quarks (and probably some orbital formations of electrons and things) and certain Ancient Examples like in Friar Sahagun's *--Things of New Spain v. 7" there is an article by Phillips in Fate magazine in two parts starting April 1987, which may be easier to find than his book (?).

The instance of the Aztec example in Sahagun doesn't seem to differentiate atoms, although the molecules are indicated by connecting lines between the atoms; the little glimpses I catch occasionally have never showed connection (although the molecules have been sometimes recognizable, including some large helixes of protein or DNA) but the atoms are color coded.

Since I don't see any features relating to electrons, the summary of Moray King's paper on Zero-Point Energy I posted under "hypersomething" as the subject line are very tempting to apply, in conjunction with the closely related concepts of Tom Beardon, and this kind of thing seems to lend credence to them both...especially Beardon, who has applied *Scalar* to virtually every phenomena imaginable probably, including the human mind.

I don't do anything special to precipate this, although certain changes in diet or herb intake seem to bring it on...

My first experience with non-alcoholic birch beer, for one, and lately, I'm taking Echinacea with Astragalus membranaceus. Not knowing the chemistry of the latter, the former could still possibly form something that fits a pattern for the toxic and dangerous narcotic kind of materials that bring out some macropsia in horses, ie Locoweeds, where horses supposedly step over pebbles like they were the size of boulders... It has lead to a suspicion of involvement of muscarinic receptors...

Of course what it interesting here is that locoweeds belong to the genus Oxytropis and Astragalus. The Chinese medicinal I'm using is obviously a far cry from the deadly stuff in its genera, but it might be that this property lies in some subtle area or non-toxic chemical. (As to the Theosophists themselves, it's kind of hard to tell...)

The logistics in developmental biology really should be explored, I think. WHY do we have this Almost-latent facility anyway? And what would be the first thing a germ or virus would like to mess around with if That's what it was for?

But anyway, likely the only difference between the Ancient Library of Pergamon and the modern chemistry publisher Pergamon Press is that the former had more thorough a collection of researches, and the latter is prohibitively overpriced to the "average person" (ie, mobility-challenged amature herbalist). Think they're in some past-life karma-behavioral loop there or something, That not withstanding?

Well, anyway, I'd be more in favor of taking up a collection for equipment for any capable pagan who wants to put a priority on researching the constituents of Magically significant herbs, I think... notwithstanding some serious questions about why there don't seem to be any of these out there that I know of...

But you know, there are questions... I mean, just seeing atoms and no molecular linkages, you start to think of things like living organisms as one single molecule or something... I know that must be illusory, but anyway... and yes, what went one here *Once Upon A Time* is intriguing, is it not?

Hmmm...

Peace!

Subject: Magic & AIDS

Hello.

Last time I had teevee I was seeing way too much propoganda about how there still is no cure for AIDS... especially with all of the very promising alternative medicine stuff appearing...

Since I'm plugging Tom Beardon's work alot, this is one of the places where I do think he might have slipped off the deep end, namely that AIDS is semi-psychotronic Russian scalar-wave energy warfare...

I mean, I've been seeing quandries about the "facts" going on almost a decade: Isn't the first thing you do with a new virus determine if it's aerobic or anaerobic? And if it's anaerobic, oxygen kills it? If oxygen therapy is legitimate, the answer comes within 7 days of discovering the pathogen. And how do you test for *the* antibody for a virus that's supposed to change it's protein code? Then there was research done in California that a characteristic was tubercular mycoplasm, leaving one to wonder exactly why TB used to be called consumption, maybe... And there's *opportunism*: one news report claimed that an AIDS victim had been killed by AIDS as "a lethal pneumonia and four other opportunistic diseases"...Why not blame the lethal pnemonia?

Hell, I went off half-baked on some spur of Phospholipase A2 inhibitors into Antivenins, and I was seeing time and time again that the endless list of Ethnobotanical snakebite remedies seemed a if they had reputations pointing as much to immunomodulators than enzyme inhibitors, that I really wasn't surprised when I heard the latest trend in research concerned protease inhibitors, which the drug companies had picked up from a researcher who just happened to be on board a plane with a bomb in it...

Besides being happy to see the return of any snake oil peddler who doesn't throw in rusty nails or whiskey, I'm eternally grateful for having been sent along Wilson's *Black Ops Conspiracy Page*, where of course there are some formidable listings under AIDS... (just yell if the url needs repeating)

Okay, I know you can't just conjure integrity and shove it down people's throats ethically (well, unless you were weighing lives I guess) but I'm having to wonder again about the impersonal and ethical magic of removing the bullshit that gets in the way when there is something to be fixed...

I've been studying some signatures I promised to get back to the list on, but really... besides the ChroniApolloni "Two Replicators and Three Free Energy Units in Every Garage and a Broomstick for Everyone over 15" policy of making breathing holes in the status quo, anyone have any input on all this? Any whatsoever?

Peace!
