ROOTED IN THE PAST, LOOKING TO THE FUTURE.

THE ANTIOCHIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH IN AMERICA

Fr. Gregory's Links

Fr. Gregory is entirely responsible for the contents of this page; mostly, these are simply links that I have accumulated over several years surfing the Web. Since other link collections are included, some attempt has been made (according to Meyers-Briggs™, I am an INTP ), to eliminate repetition. For the most part, I have not included links to mainstream Roman Catholic, Canterburian Anglican, and larger jurisdiction Chalcedonian Orthodox sites because they are readily accessible elsewhere. Inclusion here does not necessarily imply endorsement by either Fr. Gregory or the Antiochian Catholic Church.

Note: If anything on this page, or on this website for that matter, in any way violates any copyright, service mark, trade mark, etc., it is unintentional. If you, or any entity you represent, hold same, PLEASE contact me before taking any further action. I will be more than happy to resolve the matter.

Fr. Greg's Personal Webpage on AOL.

The Rev. Fr. Gregory Ned Blevins
This page was originally set up to introduce fellow AOL members to the ACCA and to lead them to THIS site. It still has that function, but it also has come to serve as a sort of "Blog" for me and has expanded into quite a florigellum of quotes from various sources, including myself. It is my prayer that, along with this site and other, it will bring many to the fullness of the Apostolic Orthodox Catholic Christian Faith.

The Antiochian Catholic Church is in communion with the following jurisdiction:

Anglican Catholic Communion - USA
The ACCUSA, formerly known as the United Catholic Church, is a Chalcedonian, primarily Western Rite jurisdiction centered in Jacksonville, Florida and Augusta, Georgia. It is not to be confused with the Continuing Anglican jurisdiction of similar name

Other Jurisdictions of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church:

Assyrian Church of the East
This is the "mainstream" East Syrian Church. It affirms the Councils of Nicea and Constantinople, but declared its independence from the Church of the Roman (Byzantine) Empire prior to the Council of Ephesus.

British Orthodox Church
This jurisdiction is in communion with the Coptic Church of Egypt.

International Communion of the Charismatic Episcopal Church
Seeking to blend the historic "Catholic" celebration of the sacraments with Evangelical theology and charismatic renewal, the Charismatic Episcopal Church is one of the fastest growing denominations on the planet.

Charismatic Episcopal Church An Unofficial Page
Another Charismatic Episcopal Church website.
Christ Charismatic Liturgical Church
This unique Independent Catholic Community, centered in Idaho Falls, Idaho, is pastored by my godmother, Trimelda Cheryl McDaniels. Mother Trimelda developed the following propers for a MASS OF SPIRITUAL WARFARE.

Order of the Magnificat of the Mother of God.
Led by a "mystically consecrated" "Pope," and inspired by the apparitions of the Theotokos at LaSallette, France in the 19th Century, these are probably the only "Traditional" Roman Catholics who "ordain" women.

Malabar Independent Syrian Church
An Ephesine jurisdiction centered in India.

Old Catholic Church of America
A major North American Old Catholic jurisdiction.

Old Roman Catholic Church in North America
This jurisdiction, under Bishop Francis Facione, emphasizes its loyalty to the Council of Trent, but like all Old Catholics, dissents from Vatican I.

Polish National Catholic Church
The PNCC is the largest Old Catholic jurisdiction in North America. It is also the only such jurisdiction with official connections to the Old Catholic Union of Utrecht.

Polish Old Catholic Rite of North America/Old Catholic Archdiocese of North America
A "Christ Centered, Biblically Focused Christian Catholic Community," this jurisdiction, unlike the PNCC, ordains women to the priesthood.

Religious Congregation of Mary Immaculate Queen
A Traditionalist Roman Catholic jurisdiction.

Syrian Orthodox Church of Antioch Archdiocese for Eastern USA
Ephesine Orthodox.

United American Orthodox Catholic Church
An autocephalous jurisdiction of Chalcedonian Orthodoxy.

Congregations, Parishes, Worshipping Communities, etc. (The only organization here is alphabetical. For ACCA congregations, see the ACCA Homepage)

Gesu Parish
Jesuit-sponsored Roman Catholic campus parish of Marquette University. I was baptized and confirmed here some years ago.
Mount St. Michael, Spokane, Washington
Traditionalist, sede vacantist Roman Catholic.

Our Lady of Fatima Spring Hill, Florida
Traditional Roman Catholic

A parish of the Episcopal Church. Its former Senior Warden, Bill Farnham, is Ecumenical Representative for the Episcopal Diocese of East Tennesee and a good friend of the ACCA.

St. Mary of the Angels Church, Los Angeles CA
Traditional Anglo-Catholic parish of the Anglican Church in America.

Scobey United Methodist Church
The UM congregation in my hometown, Scobey, Montana.

Various related sites (Mostly self-explanatory. Some are commercial.)

Abbott Liturgical Arts - Religion Statuary

Terrence J. Boyle home page
Mr. Boyle is a conservative Roman Catholic, but he is obviously sympathetic to Traditional Roman Catholicism. He has a great set of links which ranges across the entire spectrum of historic, Apostolic Christianity as well as Protestantism.

Byzantines
Byzantine Rite Christians in communion with, and under the jurisdiction of, the Bishop of Rome.

Conciliar Press
Chalcedonian Orthodox.

Feminists for Life of America
I suspect that some members of this organization would agree with my slogan, "Mother Angelica for Pope!"

Gregory of Nyssa HomePage
This is the Gregory for whom I am named.

Hugoye Journal of Syriac Studies
Twice-yearly online scholarly publication focusing on early Syriac Christianity.
Leftout: The Pro-Life Liberal's Home on the Web

Other Collections of Links (Including a couple of search engines)

Continuing Anglican Bodies.
A list of links for Non-Canterburian Anglican jurisdictions with a few Old Catholic links as well.

Celtic Christian Ring
Celtic Christian sites, many of which would also qualify as Independent Catholic.

Debriefing meta search engine

Ind-Movement.org
Subtitled The World of Autocephalous Churches, Fr. Tony Begonja's masterpiece is probably the single best website of its type. My links collection is designed only to supplement Fr. Tony's fine work. (Some links are broken, but this is mostly due to the transient nature of much of Independent Catholicism.)

Orthodox Monasteries in North America
Chalcedonian Orthodox.

Syrian Orthodox Resources
Great source of links related to (West) Syrian Ephesine Christianity, including sister Churches of other ethnic groups, such as the Copts, Armenians, etc.

Yahoo! Christianity

Montana-related, specifically Scobey, Montana-related

I grew up in Scobey "Lake Wobegon" Montana. Garrison, if I have violated any copyrights with this statement, please forgive me. Your royalty check is in the mail.

Billings Gazette
Montana's premier daily newspaper, the one I grew up with. Now I read the online version daily.

Great Falls Tribune
Another fine Montana newspaper.

Daniels County Chamber of Commerce, Scobey, Montana
"Where all the women are strong, all the men are good-looking, and all the child are above average." Ain't that right, Garrison?

Great Grains
Owned and operated by old family friends, the Rustebakkes, Great Grains produces and sells flour made from organically grown wheat which the Rustebakkes grow themelves.

Dr. Nathan Rodning, In memoriam.
Nate, high school classmate, fellow disk jockey, and Professor of Physics at the University of Alberta, died suddenly in April, 2002. We extend our deepest sympathy to his family. Memory eternal!

Dr. Mutt's Home Page
Joan (pronounced Jo'-ann) "Mutt" Dickson and I went to school together and also worked together at Scobey's one radio station, KCGM-FM. She's been a plumber, truck driver, EMT, Paramedic, RN, and now, she's DR. Mutt, as in M.D. Way to go, girl!

Tande Auction Service
Another of Scobey's fine business establishments, this one run by Rod Tande, who also worked at KCGM in the 70s, and Ed Hinton, another classmate of mine.

Other, just other.

A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor
Given my obvious fondness for "APHC" (which has taught me a whole heckuvalot about myself), I just had to include a link to Garrison's website. You bet!

Ed Friedlander, M.D.
The "Path Guy." Dr. Ed is a pathologist, a "man's man," an Episcopalian, and something of a renaissance man as well.

The Cornerstone Forum
Basing itself upon the work of Rene Girard, and Gil Baile's Violence Unveiled, proclaims what is probably the foundational anthropological meaning of the Gospel.

Marquette University
A fine Jesuit institution of higher learning which I attended during the Carter Administration.

Marriage Laws
Here, the Universal Life Church answers the question, "As an ordained clergymember, what must one do in order to be able to perform legally valid weddings in a given state?" However, having received feedback indicating that all of this information may not be entirely correct, we would advise you to check with local officials before proceeding.

NMRA Directory of World Wide Rail Sites
I like trains. I LOVE trains. What can I say?
