I
served almost thirty-three years in Bank of Baroda and opted
for the Voluntary Retirement Scheme when it came my way at
the end of March 2001.
I,
always, have had this flair for the English language - writing,
editing and proofreading.
I am quite at home with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel,
and my experience in the Bank will come in useful for any
kind of jobs that require understanding and dealing with numeric
data. My familiarity with the computer keyboard coupled with
the accuracy honed from my service in the Bank will ensure
quick and efficient output.
I am comfortable doing web content writing and I have also
done some technical writing - content for a Microsoft A+ Certification
Programme, which was used as a supplementary guide for students
undergoing the A+ course in Malaysia.
All
through my service, naturally, my interests in English and
in Music were put on hold except for the odd article written,
or the performance. Speaking of articles, you set the topic,
you set the length (and if you wish, the tone too), and I
shall deliver.
I was always a lover of the English language and during my
school and college days I was into playing the guitar and
the drums professionally till I joined the Bank. The music
scene has also changed since my younger days. It has become
hi-tech, almost rendering the drummer redundant. But, I have
noticed that while a lot of creativity is being shown with
respect to the different kinds of sounds utilised on the drum
track, there is quite a paucity of 'variations' or 'interpretations'
used in fill-ins. Modesty aside, I could definitely enhance
this aspect of drumming with innovations not thought of hitherto. Get
in Touch!
