This is a ten day tour of Zimbabwe covering the most popular places of interest in Zimbabwe. This is a ideal tour for the traveller who has limited time and would like to see as much of zimbabwe in a short time.The tour starts in Harare and finishes in Victoria Falls. It involves both camping and hotel accomodation. All park entrance fees are included in the tour price, which is US$600.00.
DAY ONE
We do a quick tour of the capital, the Lion and Cheetah park and the panaromic view of the Kopje Hill before heading out to the ancient city for a detailed historical outlay of Zimbabwe's history, the people and culture. We on the first day visit a village and a local school. We will then spend the night at Great Zimbabwe lodges overloking the ancient city. For dinner we will have a Bar-bar-que with sadza, and bed and breakfast.
DAY TWO
We start by climbing up the hill complex of the ruins and tour of these Great house of stone before having a well deserved breakfast at the Great Zimbabwe Hotel. We then head out to Bulawayo, first stop at the Chipangali Wildlife Opharnage, then the National Museum and the street market.This night we stay at Hotel Rio and we wine and dine out at the Castle Bed, breafast
DAY THREE We spend a full days at Matopos National Park, driving around in game drive vehicles for a white rhino and see Rhode's grave. Bed and breakfast.
DAY FOUR From Bulawayo we head north to Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe's biggest park. We do a bush lunch on the side of the road halfway through. On arrival at Elephant Sands Camp we do a Sunset game drive and later after diner a night game drive (spot lighting. We stay in comfortable two men tents all meals are included and park entry fees.The night game drive is extra ZW$500.00.
