What can you say about Cordelia? She's vain, but in a sort of cute way. She's absolutely gorgeous, in a very desirable way. She's smart, kind of, okay maybe not really at all. She's hopelessly in love with our man Xand, and who can blame the poor girl? I'm glad that Cordy has come down off popularity planet for a little while, because she works really well with the team, and she definitely adds fun and zany humour to the group. Popularity with a human face, that's our girl Cordy. It was SO awesome hearing her finally tell off annoying as hell Harmony in BBB, one of Cordy's best shows. Plus, she drives Giles completely mad, which is so much fun to watch. Seeing Giles whine about having to be stuck with Cordy again, in Killed By Death was so hilarious. Cordy used to be so mean to Willow, Xander and Buffy, which does piss me off. I was waiting for a huge showdown between Willow and Cordy, until I remembered that such a thing would so not be Will's way. But, I digress. It's cool that the four of them have been seemingly able to put aside their differences (I know Xander has!) to help out the good of humanity. Will and Cordy also seem much closer, which on one level I like, but on another I don't. Willow has to still have major issues when it comes to Cordelia, and it's not good to hold all that stuff in! But, I digress.
I also like Cordy because she dresses very well, and I can appreciate that. I have only one exception to previous statement, and that took place in KBD. Cordy wore a navy blue skirt, with black boots. Navy blue and black DO NOT match under ANY circumstances, and Cordy surely would have known that. Not only do they not match, but they look ridiculous together. My absolute favorite Cordy outfits were her cat (leopard, tiger, what the hell ever) costume in Halloween and her red dress worn the day after Valentine's Day at school, in BBB.
Cordy is half of my favorite couple on BtVS. I have a foolish, romantic weakness for cute couples, who make me giggle with happiness seeing them together. Xander and Cordy are definitely a cute couple, and their fights prove that. Their childish bickering brings so much fun to the show, not to mention their passion for each other. So what's in store for this fabulous duo? My guess is that they are going to do it, and hopefully soon! BtVS has given sex such a bad rap, it's about time that someone did it, and tragedy didn't follow. Will the sight of Xander in a confirmed burgundy speedo drive our girl Cordy into the throws of passion? I can only hope.
