Buffy and Angel
The Tragic Love Story

I didn't like Buffy/Angel. If you don't like that, you better leave or I am going to piss you off, and you are going to send me a nasty email and I am going to send you one back that is even worse, and mine will obviously be superior to your's, because you will say things like "Angel is hot," which is not a good argument for anything.

That being said, I'm going to tell y'all why I didn't like the two together. She's a Slayer, he's a vampire. The age-old fight with this couple was an entirely valid and appropriate one. I'm sorry, but there is NO WAY a Slayer should be involved with a vamp, even one with a gypsy curse. Cause look what happened! If Buffy hadn't gotten so entangled with Angel, he probably wouldn't have gone so "O.J." on her when he turned. Then, she could have staked him like she should have and Ms. Calendar would still be alive. Hell, he wouldn't have turned at all if she hadn't screwed him.

Granted, I did feel really bad for the both of them at the end of B2, but as far as I am concerned, Buffy did the right thing, and Angel gets what he deserves. And no, Buffy most likely didn't have to send him to Hell, but I don't blame her one bit for doing it.

The future of this couple isn't looking so hot. Dire would be a better word. Angel gets his own digs in L.A. in a year, and Cordy is going to be there (though with him is another question altogether). Though Angel is returning to the show this season (damnit, ruin B2 already), I'm not sure how the two can ever seriously reconcile what has happened between them. Hopefully they won't. Both need to get over it already and get on with the rest of their lives (or lack thereof).
