232. John⁸ COCKERILL II (John⁹ COCKERELL (-ILL)) was born in ?, Richmond County, VA, December 19, 1757. He died April 11, 1837 in NC, at 79 years of age.

He married Ann ROBERTSON in Nashville, Davidson County, TN, 1780.⁽²⁷¹⁾ She was born in Wake County, NC February 10, 1757. She died October 15, 1821 at 64 years of age.

John COCKERILL II and Ann ROBERTSON had the following children:

+ 186 i. John⁷ COCKRILL III was born July 8, 1781.⁽²⁷²⁾

233 ii. Ann COCKRILL⁽²⁷³⁾ was born, February 1, 1783. She died August 16, 1833 in Saline County, MO, at 50 years of age.

234 iii. Sterling Robertson COCKRILL⁽²⁷⁴⁾ was born, March 7, 1785.

235 iv. James COCKRILL was born, January 28, 1787. He died in Western, TN.

236 v. Mark Robertson COCKRILL was born, December 2, 1788. He died June 27, 1872 in Nashville, Davidson County, TN, at 83 years of age. He married Susan COLLINGSWORTH May 22, 1822. She was born January 4, 1798. She died August 2, 1871 at 73 years of age.

Mark's occupation: Planter/Rancher.

237 vi. Susanna COCKRILL⁽²⁷⁵⁾ was born, September 2, 1790. She died in ? MO.

238 vii. Sarah COCKRILL⁽²⁷⁶⁾ was born, May 15, 1794. She died in ? Vicksburg, (?) MS.

239 viii. Martha A. R. COCKRILL⁽²⁷⁷⁾ was born, November 5, 1800. She died May 27, 1844 at 43 years of age.
