Chris Mulder's Fanfic

Four years ago, I was just entering FOLCdom, and read a *great* story (Love Beyond All Measure).  I wrote to the author to tell her how much I loved her work, and by the way, I couldn't help noticing her e-mail address, did she happen to live anywhere near me?  Turns out that she did, indeed, live very close by, and we arranged to meet (which is a whole 'nother story <g>).  Within months, we were best friends, and have been proofing each other's stories ever since.

A Life Well Spent -- He started at the bottom rung of the food chain, but as this tribute shows, he went on to live a life well spent.

The Quest -- Lois and Clark are on a frantic mission to find a mysterious object.  One of two short vignettes co-written with Pam Jernigan.

The Child Who Fell From the Sky -- Infants understand more than we think, as this story from baby Kal-El's perspective demonstrates.

Lois Says (2) -- It's been a bad day, and Lois just has to take it out on Clark before she finally allows him to cheer her up.  Good thing he's got superpowers <g>

kerth1998win61x72.gif (3119 bytes)Love Beyond All Measure -- A madman holds Lois hostage, and he's armed with Kryptonite, leaving Superman helpless.  So Clark will have to save her, instead...

Dimensions of Loving -- In this sequel to LBAM, Lois & Clark investigate both an intricate plot against them and their blossoming relationship.  These two stories won Kerths in 1998, including Best Series & Best Villain.

kerth1998win61x72.gif (3119 bytes)Meet Me in Kansas City -- What if Lois had met Clark under different, less stressful circumstances?  Say, a journalism convention in Kansas?  With Lois out of the office, and no Superman in sight, it's a whole new dynamic, but two people who are meant to be together will find each other, no matter what.  Winner of a *bunch* of Kerths in 1998, including Best Overall Fanfic.

A Hero's Journey -- Zara and Ching recount Clark's impact on New Krypton -- and bring his body home.

kerth1999win61x72.gif (3081 bytes)For the Good of the Child -- In the second episode of L&C Season 6, Lois & Clark fight for their daughter Laura's future.

Chris has also written on quite a few of the IRC Round Robin stories.
