Sheep coats are removed and sheep are placed in chair for hoof trimming and tagging.

Sheep are sheared.

Fleeces are skirted, placed in mesh bags, washed and then dried on racks

Fibers are combed, pulled through a diz to make a roving for creating a worsted yarn.

Other options for preparing the fiber for spinning are flick carding using a single comb or carding using two combs.

Wool is then spun into yarn, wound into skeins and dyed if desired.
