The Grasshopper having sung
All the summer long,
Found herself lacking food
When the North Wind began its song.
Not a single little piece
Of fly or grub did she have to eat.

She went complaining of hunger
To the Ant's home, her neighbour,
Begging there for a loan
Of some grain to keep herself alive
Til the next season did arrive,
"I shall pay you," she said
"Before next August, on my word as an animal.
I'll pay both interest and principal."

The Ant was not so inclined:
this not being one of her faults.
"What did you do all summer?"
Said she to the grasshopper.

"Night and day I sang,
I hope that does not displease you."

"You sang? I will not look askance.
But now my neighbour it's time to dance."

Ciao! Welcome to the Wild Women Adventure pages. Welcome to 2003! The "Wild Women" are celebrating their 7th anniversary travelling and continuing to check off the countries and cities on the "to be visited" list. What will 2003 bring? We continue our travels through life. With the new acquisition, there will no doubt be lots of time spent in Keystone, cross country skiing, mountain biking, "coasting the Pass", hottubbing, sipping martinis at the Snake River Inn, deep tissue massages and the annual Ski Tip Lodge repast. On the planning boards; a weekend in Singapore and meeting international friends in the Engadine for cycling, hiking, and literary discussions (as well as good food and wine). Don't miss out on the adventure! If you're lucky enough... and brave enough, you might even become a part of it yourself!
