A reunion of the 40th Anniversary Edition Corvettes was held at the National Corvette Museum on April 27-29, 2000. Approximately 180 people attended this event. Included was a tour of the Holly Performance Factory, the Corvette Assembly Plant, a technical repair secession on the C4 corvette with Gordon Killebrew, a dinner at the National Corvette Museum, and a road trip to Mammoth Cave State Park.
I call this one "Rubies in the rain". On Thursday night we had a BBQ at the 1869 Homestead. I know it's not supposed to, but it rained on our vettes.
All the Rubies lined up in the front circle of the museum to have our picture taken. There were over 85 cars in attendance.
Karen trying to not look bored as we lined our cars up for the picture in the circle of the NCM. I will give her credit in that she never complained during the 1700 miles we drove about the noise level of my corvette's exhaust system. |
