* The gravity-defying Fuerzabruta is an unmissable experience--sensual, athletic, absorbing, magical...my list of superlatives could run on and on. F and I caught them at the Roundhouse and found them simply breathtaking.

* I saw a tiny snapshot of a production on the university homepage and immediately recognised it and whooped for joy, such an impact it left on me--the company who performed Carmen Funebre, which is one of the most moving, harrowing, effective and beautiful pieces of theatre I have seen in my life, is coming to the Fringe with their production of Macbeth--there are two for one tickets for the 5th and 6th (Sun and Mon respectively) and I will definitely be going, in case anyone would like to join me. They are truly unforgettable.

* and of course, the glorious Sketchettes are going to be rocking the Fringe this year with our very own tisme (aka the sumptuous Ms Tallulah) at the helm! If you have somehow managed to miss what all the fuss is about, there's more info here.
