Starrcade 97', December 28, 1997:

Finally returning to action, the new-look Sting defeats Hollywood Hogan to win the WCW world title, and in the process gives WCW a healthy 1.7 buy-rate, the largest in WCW history.

WCW Monday Nitro, January 5, 1998:

In a dark match, Sting and Lex Luger beat Hollywood Hogan and Randy Savage.

Boston Brawl, January 31, 1998:

Sting defeats Hollywood Hogan in a steel cage match (available on Internet PPL).

Superbrawl VIII, February 22, 1998:

Due to Bret Hart's interference at Starrcade, the world title has been declared vacant and is up-for- grabs in a match between Sting and Hogan. As strong as ever, Sting defeats Hogan and begins title reign number two under his new Crow-like gimmick.

Uncensored 98', March 15, 1998:

Winning the war over the devious New World Order, Sting defeats Scott Hall.

Spring Stampede 98', April 19, 1998:

Sting's world title reign comes to an end thanks to a Powerbomb from Kevin Nash, which allows Randy Savage to snatch a win and the title.

Slamboree' 98, May 17, 1998:

Sting and The Giant defeat The Outsiders to raise the WCW tag team belts when The Giant pins Nash.

The Great American Bash 98', June 14, 1998:

Now wearing red and black face-paint, and a member of the Wolfpac, Sting defeats The Giant to claim the tag titles that they held as a team. Sting later chooses Kevin Nash as his new partner.

Fall Brawl 98', September 13, 1998:

Sting loses Wargames when DDP pins Stevie Ray. Other wrestlers featured in the match are Hollywood Hogan, Bret Hart, Lex Luger, Kevin Nash, Roddy Piper and Ultimate Warrior.

Halloween Havoc 98', October 25, 1998:

In his final match under his Red and Black Wolfpac persona, Sting loses to Bret Hart by knockout, and is left on the shelf for many months when he suffers an injury.
